This wooden box features the Ace of Swords from the Tarot de Marseilles. A variation of the Tarot emblem appears on the inner lid.
Outer dimensions:
approx. 7 × 4.75 × 4.25 inches.
Inner dimensions:
approx. 6 × 4 × 3 inches.
Designs are created by engraving on box with use of pyrography ("fire writing") and coloring with acrylic paint and India ink.
The inner body of the box is cushioned with cotton batting and lined with blue suede. The deep dimension allows room for storage of one large deck or two average-sized decks plus a cloth.
The box is lacquered for gloss and protection, and a swing arm, flip latch has been added to the front.
